NA07, Bedle and van der Lee (2009) , is based on the 3-D shear velocity model NA04 and the analysis of regional S and Rayleigh waveforms for earthquakes around North America from January 2000 through September 2006, including waveforms from the USArray Transportable Array stations. The NA07 3-D model is expressed as velocity difference in m/s relative to the 1-D averaged Earth model MC35.

NA07.tar.gz (~20.6 MB) includes the model in its original format (S-velocity anomalies in m/s) on a 0.25°x0.25° grid for depths from 70 to 670 km at non-uniform intervals and also the MC35 reference model.
NA07_percent.nc (metadata) is the netCDF binary for the above 0.25°x0.25° model expressed as S-velocity in percent S-velocity perturbation relative to the MC35 reference model.
NA07_kmps.nc (metadata) is the netCDF binary for the above 0.25°x0.25° model expressed as S-velocity in km/s.

Data Set Description [Bedle and van der Lee (2009) ] Vertical component seismograms for regional station-event pairs for which the great circle ray path traverses the North American continent were collected. In this study, 5549 waveforms from 108 events were analyzed. The events occurred from January 2000 through September 2006, although several events from previous years were incorporated to take advantage of data recorded by the Adirondack Broadband Array (ABBA) and the North American Mantle Anisotropy and Discontinuity experiment (NOMAD), as well as to include more events in the Arctic to improve coverage of the Canadian upper mantle. Data from multiple other seismic networks were also incorporated. This new waveform data set is entirely independent of the seismic data used in the S velocity model NA04.
