During 1980 and 1981, the USGS collected seismic refraction data in the western Mojave Desert. The seismic refraction data extends from north of the Garlock Falult, south through the Mojave Desert, and across the San Andreas Fault into the San Gabriel Mojntains. The data was collected over 3 field sessions using thirteen shots fired over 11 different shotpoints.
