• George Bush Intercontinental Airport - approximately 32 miles from venue and nearby hotels. This is a large busy international airport. Surrounding ground traffic can be problematic.
• Hobby Airport - approximately 21 miles from venue and nearby hotels. Hobby is a smaller secondary airport for domestic flights.
Travel Advisory: If possible, avoid flight arrival times between 3:30pm - 6:30pm. Houston has some of the worst rush hour traffic in the country.
Registration deadline is May 3, 2014. Registration is free, but required in order to clear participants for entry to the venue.
Participants are generally expected to make their own travel arrangements. IRIS has extremely limited funds to cover travel expenses for invited speakers and a few other academic participants. If you would like to request travel support, please indicate so on your registration form. You will be contacted about the availability of funds by May 17.
