The SAGE Data Management System is tasked with archiving seismic data from many sources. Most of the data stored at the Data Management Center can be categorized as continuous, passive-source seismic data collected by broadband instruments. However, the DMC also stores active-source (man-made explosion) data, and data from non-seismic instruments, commonly referred to as environmental, gravimetric, magnetotelluric, state-of-health, or historical record digital scanning projects, and others.
