These tables connect geophysical tools used to study Earth's global issues and the classroom. Circles and underlined text provide background information for the educator, linking the tool to the topic through research papers, videos, readings, or websites. Triangles lead to educational resources for classroom use, including activities, videos/animations, and readings; there are a few with links to two resources. It is important to note that some educational resources may focus on a fundamental understanding of either the tool or the topic. Further tables display connections between the tools and waves and high school NGSS for Earth and Space Science as well as Physics. Though not in the article, this resource also includes the NGSS tables for middle school.
