We seek a post-doctoral scholar who will contribute to our growing research in geophysical sensing and seismoacoustic signal characterization.
As a post-doctoral scholar, you will have the opportunity to work on a federally funded research project that involves the development of new algorithms suitable for processing data from urban areas. You will develop improved models for both signals and noise in these environments, and play a key role in designing and coordinating unique experiments for testing hypotheses and algorithms.
The position is a fixed term, not to exceed two years (24 months).

Education and Experience:
An earned doctorate is required. Field of study in Geophysics, Physics or Engineering preferred. Applicants with a PhD in Computer Sciences considered.
Expertise with signal processing is strongly preferred. Candidates without expertise with signal processing must have significant experience in a related field.
Experience with Python programming is required.
Excellent statistical and data analytic skills is preferred.
A strong record of research presentations and publications is desired.
