Staff from the IRIS DMC will present a 4-hour workshop titled "Digging in to JWEED, IRIS DMC's Event-based Data Request Tool".

This short course will be a thorough presentation of the DMCs map based tool for making event-based waveform requests. Feedback from the participants will be encouraged.

In order to keep the workshop efficient, we are limiting the short course to 25 participants.

Short course registration will close April 25, 2008.

Participants that are selected will be notified by April 30, 2008.

Participants are required to bring their own laptop computers. Participants must have installed JWEED on their laptops and read the JWEED tutorial.

There will be no registration fee.

The IRIS Data Management System will pay for one night of lodging (June 2, 2008) and lunch will be provided.

Support will only be provided for applicants from IRIS Full Member Institutions.

Lunch will be available at 12 noon on June 3, 2008.

The workshop will be held from 1 PM until 5 PM on June 3, 2008 at the Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington, just prior to the IRIS Workshop.
