2004 PDCC Workshop Registration

When:  September 1-3, 2004
Where: IRIS Data Management Center, Seattle, WA, USA

The IRIS DMC is hosting a second workshop for users interested in the Portable Data Collection Centers (PDCC) software. The goal of the workshop is to introduce the latest version of the PDCC software to new and current users and to offer hands-on instruction in its use. IRIS DMC staff will present PDCC and other topics such as the SEED format, RESP files, and various software tools. Extra time will be allowed for one-on-one guidance in the use of the PDCC software.  A specific syllabus will be developed to fit to a three-day course of instruction.  Users who had participated in the first workshop in December, 2003 are also encouraged to attend since we will demonstrate new software features.

The hands-on training aspect of the workshop means that each attendee will want to bring a portable computer (laptop or notebook) that is capable of reading a CD-ROM, and preferably can connect to an ethernet network.

Please note the following:

  1. Due to the size constraints of our facilities, our class size is limited to 20 persons.
  2. Each person attending is required to bring their own portable computer with Java v1.4.0 or later installed.
  3. Attendees are expected to arrange and pay for their own travel costs (* see below).
  4. There is no registration fee for attending the workshop.
