EMAIL Search
This utility allows convenient access to a list of electronic mailing
addresses. You can search for names or institutions. Please type
single strings such as "IRIS" or "Jones". For now the search IS
CASE SENSITIVE.
If you need to update
or add your address to the list, please fill out this simple update
form.
To get the most recent version of this list, use ftp to tanasi.gg.utk.edu
(ftp 128.169.201.176). Login as user ftp or anonymous using your
surname as the password. The file is in the dist subdirectory, and
is named email.list. Most of the addresses for Japanese seismologists
are from the list compiled by Kazuki Koketsu. The most recent version
of that list can be obtained by anonymous ftp to ftp.eri.u-tokyo.ac.jp
(130.69.195.16). The file is in the pub/data/mail subdirectory,
and is named zisin.mail.
A symbol preceeding a name means:
j - He/She can read Japanese characters on his/her terminal
o - The address is old, formerly worked, but did not work the last time
I tried to use it.
x - I was unable to send mail to the address given, or that I sent mail
but am not certain that it was received.
