Seismological Investigation, Reports of the Committee
The British Association for the Advancement of Science
was founded in 1831. The Committee on Seismological Investigation began publishing
reports in 1896 under the leadership of John Milne. These reports continued until
1954 with a total of 59 numbered reports. However, some reports appear not to have
been published, and report size became much shorter after Milne's death in 1913.
Therefore, we post only the first 25 BAAS reports (1896-1920). The reports are
reproduced here as scans in Adobe Acrobat with thumbnails, bookmarks, and a navigation
page. [Note: Report "Twenty-third" should
be
"Twenty-fourth" in 1919.]

The published paper reports were gathered by Willie
Lee who created this project.
The hundreds of pages of the Reports were scanned by Shirley L. Lee, the resulting
