Chris Loos - Information Technology Coordinator

Chris LoosI joined the ranks here at the IRIS Corporate Headquarters, in October 2005, as an Information Technology Services Coordinator and Webmaster. I am responsible for designing new sections of the website, keeping content fresh, and general web housekeeping. In the upcoming year, my goal is to upgrade the IRIS website to a more dynamic, database-driven site.

Before coming to IRIS, I worked as a C++ and Java programmer for the Center for Remote Sensing, a small R&D organization focused on GPS and atmospheric sciences. I received my BS in computer science at the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University. I also studied abroad for one year at City University London. Originally I am from New Hope, PA, a small arts community situated halfway between New York City and Philadelphia.

When not working at IRIS, I can be found snapping photos around DC, DJing for fun at local clubs and lounges, or just enjoying a lazy Sunday reading the New York Times and playing XBox.
