Welcome!

The IRIS Data Management System (DMS) is charged with archiving and making available data from the GSN and PASSCAL programs, as well as data from other sources. In a continuing effort to make this data more accessible to our users - including those involved with education and outreach - we produce a quarterly, electronic newsletter designed to highlight the many services and data types available through the DMS from the Data Management Center (DMC) in Seattle, WA.

The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology is a consortium of over 150 research institutions with major commitments to research in seismology and related fields. IRIS operates a facilities program in observational seismology and data management sponsored by the National Science Foundation through its Division of Earth Sciences.
