Welcome!
The
IRIS Data Management System (DMS) is charged with archiving and
making available data from the GSN and PASSCAL programs, as well
as data from other sources. In a continuing effort to make this
data more accessible to our users - including those involved with
education and outreach - we produce a quarterly, electronic newsletter
designed to highlight the many services and data types available
through the DMS from the Data Management Center (DMC) in Seattle,
WA.

Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology is a consortium
of over 90 research institutions with major commitments to research
in seismology and related fields. IRIS operates a facilities
program in observational seismology and data management sponsored
by the National Science Foundation through its Division of Earth
Sciences. |
