Ashley Spencer - Data Control Technician

Ashley I graduated from the University of Washington in June 2010.  I started at Iris November of last year, with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.  I joined IRIS because I wanted to experience a career that was challenging and environmentally important.  I am a data control technician and have recently begun working with TA data.  I have a new son, Dylan Michael who was born on February 28th 2011.  I love spending time with him and am learning new “Mom” things.

Painting is an important part of my life and one of my favorite hobbies.  I also have an English Mastiff, which is 160 pounds and loves her baby Dylan!  I am a true environmentalist at heart. Last year I went to Kenya for one month studying restoration, and sustainable development.  I worked with villages, turtle conservation groups, and other bird researchers.  The picture below is one of me with Dylan.  I look forward to my future at IRIS and am enjoying every second of it.
