PdccProgressBar

public PdccProgressBar(java.lang.String message,
                       int min,
                       int max)
Create instance of the progress bar.

Parameters:
message - the message to be displayed in progress bar
min - the minimum value for the progress bar, which corresponds to 0 percent progress
max - the maximum value for the progress bar, which corresponds to 100 percent progress
Method Detail

setProgress

public void setProgress(int amount)
Set progress to the indicated amount, which should be between the established min and max values. The progress display will clip to the min or max value, depending on which is exceeded.

Parameters:
amount - current progress value

getProgress

public int getProgress()
Get the current progress value.

Returns:
the current progress value.

setMessage

public void setMessage(java.lang.String message)
Set the text message displayed.

Parameters:
message - the message to be displayed.

increment

public void increment(int byAmount)
Increment the progress value by the indicated amount.

Parameters:
byAmount - the amount to be incremented by

stepFor

public void stepFor(int numberElements,
                    int upTo)
Break the increments into a number of discrete steps, which when fully stepped through will reach a specified value.

Parameters:
numberElements - the number of steps to take until reaching upTo
upTo - the final value to be reached

public void step()
Perform a single increment step following the rules established in the stepFor() call.

Return the progress bar to its quiescent state. Display 'OK' with 0 percent progress.
