A block of rooms is being held at Skamania Lodge for IRIS Workshop participants. For reservations, please call 1-800-221-7117 and indicate that you are attending the IRIS Workshop. You will be asked for credit card information to hold your reservation, even if you are supported by IRIS. Your credit card will not be charged at this time. Please see the table for room rates.

Portland International Airport (PDX) is the nearest airport.

You are strongly encouraged to book your flight at least 30 days in advance to take advantage of reduced airfare rates.

Travel Information

Travel arrangements are the responsibility of the individual participant. The IRIS Workshop Travel Reimbursement form is available below.

For transportation between the airport and the hotel, you may use a shuttle or a taxi.

Shuttle Information

Blue Star Shuttle has offered a discounted rate of $38.50 per person (one way) for IRIS workshop participants. Reservations are not required from the airport, however you must have reservations to arrange your travel to the airport. Blue Star operates from 8:00 am to 12:00 am, seven days a week.

Travel From the Airport

After claiming luggage, step outside and walk to Island #3, to the long-haul shuttle area. The shuttle runs every half hour, and pulls in at the top and bottom of the hour. Mention that you are with the IRIS group to receive the discounted rate.

Travel to the airport

Formal reservations are required, and can be made by calling 1-800-247-2272 at least one day in advance. You must let them know you are with the IRIS group to receive the discounted rate. Transportation to PDX operates from 3:00 am to 12:00 am.

Taxi Cab Information

The pickup area for taxis is located in the center section of the airport terminal's lower roadway on the baggage claim and departure level. All taxis charge $2.50 per mile.
