Lots of pics, but no roommates
Alright, so Ryan and Willy (my roommates for this summer) are now both out of town on awesome trips to cool places. I hope they have a great time, but it'll mean a pretty quite house now. Another side benefit is that I can use a better computer in the lab now (i.e. Ryan's), which allows be to go back to posting pictures for everyone! Score. So, how about some focal mechanisms?

I owe a lot of thanks to Andy for running through the scipts that allowed these plots to be made, so a big shout out to him! Some things to note about the plots though, the greater number of beach balls seen, the greater number of possible mechanisms. These three events are fairly well constrained already, but there are others that need a little bt of work to see if we can get them this clean. Also, the mechanisms in this area seem to stay away from being strike-slip, we're seeing predominantly thrust and normal faults. In the next couple days I'll work on getting some larger plots of the mechanisms themselves and some T-axis plots (again, with Andy's help), as well as re-visiting some of my picks to make sure everything is on target. I'm crossing my fingers ;)
