Weeks 3-4

These last few weeks have been focused on testing equipment, getting the new weight drop opperational, and packing for the field. We will drive up to Bremerton, a town just west of Seattle on the Kitsap Penensula, tomorrow and begin collecting data on Wednesday morning. We plan to shoot a series of lines in three different regions to the west of Bremerton. The hope is to be able to shoot roughtly 2 km of line each day for 14 or 15 days. After returning to Boise around the 24th of July I should have a few weeks to help analyze data before flying back to Colorado.

This last weekend Pat and I went on a couple of bike rides, cooled off in the river, watched the fireworks in Ann Morisson Park, watched the movie Hancock, and had dinner at the Bitter Creek Alehouse.

Be sure to take some pics of

Be sure to take some pics of the urban seismology in action! I am sure a comparison of your field work and Emma's will be striking.

Sounds really cool, good

Sounds really cool, good luck and have fun. How was Hancock by the way? I've seen trailers and can't decide whether it's worth it or not to see it.
