MY POSTER!!!

I know it's unreadable, so I will include the text below in no particular order

Title:  It's Still Downhill From Tonopah to Las Vegas but the Crust Doesn't Ride for Free

Week 2 of Field Work

I am actually completely done with my project at this point, but the couple weeks were just so hectic. Then, I took three days to drive home. Sheesh.

Anyways, ere are some pictures from field work a couple weeks ago. We mostly set up lines for resistivity tests. The thing was, two of the locations we went to involved a lot of hiking uphill at very high elevations (10,000-12,000 feet) It was a bit intense.

First we went to Green Lake 4 at the CU Mountain Research Station.

Field Work, Music Fest, and Lots of Pictures

This past week I spent from Monday through Thursday helping out with a GPS survey. The purpose of the survey is to see if the Rio Grande Rift is moving any. (This has nothing to do with my project by the way.) I was paired with Celia, a UNAVCO employee. We set up two GPS sites. The second one was located at a recreation area, so we had to sit with the equipment all day to make sure nobody touched it, because any movement would mess it all up.

My Project, Yo!

Here is what I have so far of a paper that Anne had me write describing my project.  The things in bold are things I need to check on or edit.  For instance, I'm not sure how to site a map within the text, and I'm not positive that I sited it right in the references.  I'm not sure of all the places that the data came from.

More of the Same

A couple weeks have passed since my last entry. The time has really been flying by.

Stuff I have accomplished since last week:
