Each participant is expected to

• attend all of the overview and method theory lectures on 15 – 17 July
• help with data acquisition field exercises on 18 – 21 July
• join data analysis and interpretation exercises on 22 – 24 July
• present the results of their analysis at the symposium on 25 July.

To enable full participation all of the PASI activities, participants must arrive at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel on the day before lectures begin and stay until the morning after the symposium.

Shared lodging (two participants of the same sex per room) will be pre-paid for participants who apply, are accepted, and register before the deadline.

Each participant will be expected to use their own computer run data processing programs, which will be made available on site. The versions of these programs to be used all run under the Microsoft Windows operating system. Thus, each participant must bring a lap top computer that operates Windows or that can run a Windows virtual machine. The computer should have

• at least 4 gigabytes (gb) of memory
• a fast modern processor (such as an Intel i3 or better)
• at least 100gb of free disc space
• USB 2.0 port to download data
• Ethernet or wireless network adaptor to exchange information

Important! Each participant must have privileges on their own computer that allow him or her to install additional applications and libraries as necessary during the data processing exercises.
