GSN station at the SPRESSO, South Pole Remote Earth Science and Seismological Observatory. This new observatory houses the GSN station QSPA which replaces the older, much noisier SPA station. The photo shows the first cut of the cored seismometer boreholes, eventually drilled to 1000 feet in the ice.
