Electrode vault with view of dipole trench during installation of Magnetotelluric Backbone Station MBB03 in Braden, Missouri. The station has two orthogonal 300-m long and 230-m long electric dipoles with Pb-PbCl2/NaCl/kaolinite electrodes, a 30-cm diameter magnetometer at 2-m depth, and a data acquisition vault. The station was fully commissioned on September 12, 2008.
