Washington University in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral research position in seismology to work on current and upcoming field seismology projects in Antarctica and the Western Pacific. The successful applicant will be expected to perform a variety of studies to constrain the three-dimensional seismic structure of the crust and mantle using broadband seismic data. We envision this as a two-year position, but a further continuation is possible. The nominal start date for this position is October 1, 2008, but some flexibility to earlier or later starting dates is possible.
