We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team:
The Contracts Administrator prepares a variety of contracts, including consulting agreements, subaward agreements and purchase orders. Duties will include:
- Reviewing requests for the procurement of complex equipment, systems or services
- Planning procurement through coordination with Program Managers, to include the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for competitive procurement process
- Conducting competitive analysis; performing cost and price analysis
- Advising program staff on contractual matters
- Performing contract administration, including the preparation of contract vehicles, amendments and terminations
- Preparing special reports and analyses, as required
- Negotiating terms and conditions for a variety of contractual documents
- Evaluating and monitoring contract performance; ensuring compliance of contract terms and conditions and legal requirements
- Maintaining fixed assets records to fulfill Federal Government reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience managing and administering federal contracts and procurement
- Demonstrated ability to interpret laws, regulations, principles and policies to administer a wide variety of contract vehicles
- Knowledge of federal funding requirements
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze detailed and technical cost data
- Problem-solving skills, exhibiting judgment and realistic understanding of issues
- Experience with Deltek GCS Premier accounting software preferred
