Committee Charge
The Planning Committee is charged with the task of studying strategic problems and opportunities related to the vitality of IRIS and the research community in order to advise the Executive Committee in considering priorities and policies. As part of this process, the Planning Committee should review developments in national programs which are expected to have a significant impact on IRIS and the IRIS community and explore prospective new scientific directions, instrumentation, or initiatives. The Planning committee will develop recommendations for review and action by the Executive Committee.
