Fundamental Questions (FQ):

1. Vision - Time = 1 H 20m

a)      EA members will have accomplished What in ten years?

b)     Are there fundamental geoscience/science educational issues that EA members can address or support?

 

2. Membership - Time = 45m

a) Who should be a member? (Diversity vs. Exclusivity)

b) What is the length of membership? Permanente vs. Sunset with no-cost renewal (renewal requirements?)

c) What is the relationship between EA members and full members?

 

3. Program Development - Time = 3H

a) Which E&O program goals can EA members contribute to?  Which should they not?

b) What are the needs for EA members to develop and run high quality geoscience programs?

 

Target Outcomes:

  • 5-10-Year Vision
  • Increased level of specifics for membership
  • 2 Well-defined, needs-based programs, aligned within E&O and ability to be developed within 1 - 2 years (Fleshed out with volunteers)
