The IRIS EMC Slice Stack Viewer allows users to compare up to 4 horizontal slices by stacking them vertically. These horizontal slices are plotted in the same order as defined by user. The quantity displayed (absolute velocity or velocity perturbation) depends on the selected model. The model grids are selected based on the lower-left and the upper-right corners of the area, as defined by user. For each slice the actual lower left (LL) and upper right (UR) coordinates are indicated in the legend under the image. Users may further refine the plot, on their own computer by downloading the Generic Mapping Tools (GMT) script and data values used to generate the image. The download links appear under the image once the processing is complete.
Users may use the companion interactive Google Map to select the area of interest and see the extent of the selected models.
