"The U.S. Geological Survey Community Internet Intensity Map (CIIM), or
"Did You Feel It?"

map

Citizen Science webpage has been online for about 5 years, and in that time, 440,000 Internet users have filled out a questionnaire to report their experience of an earthquake, from events ranging from M7.9 (Denali, AK) down to a M2.0 in New Bedford, MA. Reports have also been received from motorists, boaters, scuba divers, within many types of buildings, and from many countries around the world. This map summarizes all the responses for ZIP codes in the United States to date. Earthquakes have been felt in ALL 50 states and in most U.S. territories. For more information, see the Did You Feel It? webpage at http://earthquake.usgs.gov/shake/.
