How do I obtain station latitude, longitude, sensor orientation and other metadata for the USArray TA?

One method of obtaining station latitude, longitude, and sensor orientation metadata is to use the IRIS DMC Metadata Aggregator (MDA). From the network list, choose the TA network and then select the station and channel.

Another option is to use the ws-station web service to return station metadata in an XML format. For users unfamiliar with web services queries, the Station URL Builder webform is a user-friendly way to build a ws-station URL. From this webform you can enter information for the requested station, select a level (net, sta, chan, resp), and then click on the link at the bottom of the page. Latitude and longitude information is available at both the sta and chan levels. Orientation information is available at the chan level. Additional metadata is available at the resp level.
