How do I post a job announcement?

Q: I want to post a job on the data. IRIS programs contribute to scholarly research, education, earthquake hazard mitigation, and verification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty.

Fill out the IRIS Bulkmail form.


Please include the following information:

Your Name  (first and last name)
Your Institution (complete name of institution)
E-mail Address (email from the institution)

If your message is in regards to a job, would you like us to post it on our jobs page, as well?

Subject: This text is what will appear in the subject of the bulkmail.

Message: paste your message here.
- Keep it short.
- Remember to include contact information, email and closing date.
- Provide a link to the institution's website.

How soon will the job announcement be posted?
The submission will be reviewed by IRIS staff and if approved the bulkmail will be sent within a few days.

Jobs are posted on the website the same day the bulkmail is sent. IRIS staff will notify you when the job has been posted.

How long are the job postings active?
Posting remain active for two months, unless a closing date is specified.
If the job is filled, then please send a note to the IRIS webmaster to remove the job posting.
