How to I find the coordinates for stations?

Q:  I have made a request about the data of South Sumatra earthquake on 25th July 2004, where the data consists a part of XE stations. I have looked up
this Network code in fdsn.org, but I can't find it.

Would you send me the coordinates of stations in XE NETWORK?

A:  The easiest way for you to scan for station/channel information is to use our "MetaData Aggregator" utility with your web browser.

Learn about the MDA utility here

But in short, you can put the network code into the URL, for example:
   http://www.iris.edu/mda/XE

The one thing with temporary experiments is that they are time-dependant, so note that the stations you see at the top are for XE2005-2007, so you scroll down to get the other years where this network code was used. It allows you to make google maps, as well, for easy plotting.

Go to the MetaData Aggregator
