Q: I am trying to post a job ad to the IRIS listserv and from what I could find online I needed to send an email to bulkmail@iris.washington.eduHowever, this email was rejected. Could you provide instructions for posting this job advertisement?
A: Only subscribers to the bulkmail mailing list can submit email directly to the list for consideration. Non-subscribers will have their email bounce. If you sent from an email address that is not registered with the mailing list, you will also get a bounce.
The alternative in these cases is to use the Bulkmail web form, found here. The request will be reviewed for content and posted to bulkmail if deemed appropriate for the list.
