Someone told me the USArray TA data has gaps. Is that true?

It is not uncommon for seismic data in general to include some gaps.  With modern equipment and station design, gaps in seismic time series can be significantly reduced or even eliminated.  The USArray Transportable Array employs modern equipment and station design combined with continuous monitoring to ensure high data return.  Even with all these measures some gaps exist in TA data.  Relative to other data managed at the IRIS DMC the TA data are not gappy.
