IRIS uses two decimals for station coordinates in
mda and gmap so that users get relative locations for making maps and viewing icons on maps.
You can view station coordinates with more precision using other methods of inquiry, for example
SeismiQuery
http://www.iris.edu/SeismiQuery/station.htm
Make sure you click on the "latitude" and "longitude" check boxes above the map icon shown in the inventory display and clicking on the display options you would like returned, like start/end times of stations, etc. Leave any fields blank where you want wildcarded information.
