reCAPTCHA key not authorized

The IRIS web forms use reCAPTCHA to prevent automated spam.

The reCAPTCHA key works with the iris.edu domain, but not with iris.washington.edu
Some outside links go the the old url which results in an error message.

User Example:

I'm trying to download the new rdseed and don't see the two words.

I see the information about reCAPTCHA, and the message:
"This reCAPTCHA key isn't authorized for the given domain."

I went to reCaptcha website and downloaded recaptcha and am still confused.

I am computer challenged.

Is there anyway I can download rdseed?

Solution:

Using the old url http://www.iris.washington.edu/manuals/rdseed_request.htm
will not work with reCAPTCHA.

Try this link to request rdseed:
http://www.iris.edu/manuals/rdseed_request.htm

A note has been added on the webpage that redirects to the working form
"If the captcha is not working, then click here. "

CAPTCHAs (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) are widespread security measures on the World Wide Web that prevent automated programs from abusing online services. They do so by asking humans to perform a task that computers cannot yet perform, such as deciphering distorted characters. (Science Vol 321 p1465)
